The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on Monday, 23 January, 2017 arraigned Akintunde Vincent Abiodun before Justice Oluwatoyin Ipaye of Lagos State High court Ikeja on amended charge bordering on forgery and obtaining money by false pretence. On Sunday, Lightning struck and killed six people and left many others injured with severe burns at a funeral, which held in Binga District of Zimbabwe. According to Zim News, the people had taken shelter under a tree when a bolt of lightning struck, killing six people on the spot.

The body of a 4 month old boy was found inside a gutter early Tuesday morning at Beebobsco bus stop, Murtala Mohammed highway, Calabar, Cross River state. According to Vanguard, an eye witness, Eme Douglas who sells cement close to where the body was found said they found the body inside a polythene bag when they resumed work on Tuesday morning, he confirmed the body wasn't there on Monday evening when they closed for work.

A suspected terrorist has caused a public stir in America after fatally injuring people in a wild shooting.

A 38 year old woman was left close to death after her “drunk” husband allegedly forced a 40cm rolling pin inside her causing massive internal injuries. The woman, who has not been named was admitted to hospital in India on Christmas Day after complaining of severe abdominal pains and swelling. Eventually a team of five doctors operated and were left horrified to find a rolling pin inside her intestines. The woman claimed her husband often tortured her because she was infertile.
